Swiss offers amazing tour skiing region and Bernese Oberland is defenitly one of the most amazing. North wall of Eiger, sleeping beautie Jungfrau and Monch are making scenery that will welcome you. This massive is one of the most emblematic sights of the Swiss Alps.
This trip will take you to glacier world, we will spend all week among 4000m high peaks, enjoy high mountain huts, exellent food and amazing hill slopes.
Guide ratio is 1:6, maximum group size is 12.
Day 1: Arrive in hotel in Interlaken, meeting with mountain guide. Checking equipment and introduction to weeks plan.
Day 2: The cogwheel railway will take us to the Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe, at 3454 m. Skiing to upper Jungfraufirn and climb up to Louwihorn (3773m). Descend to Konkordiplatz and short climb up to Konkordia hut (2850m).
Day 3: Early start and skinning up to Grunhornlucke (3280m) and Wysnnollen (3590m). Great ski down to Finsteraarhorn hut (3048m).
Day 4: After breakfast skinning up to Gross Wannenhorn (3905m), enjoy magnificent views and amazing ski slopes down to Finsteraarhorn hut.
Day 5: Long traverse to Trugberg (3880m), skiing down over Ewigschneefeld glacier back to Konkordia hut.
Day 6: Climb up to Kranzberg (3666m), descend down over largest glacier in the Alps – Aletsch to Hollandia hut (3235m).
Day 7: Grand finale of amazing ski touring week starts Swith ascent to Äbeni Flue (3962m), returt to Hollandia hut and skiing down to long valley Loetschental, short ascent up to Fafleralp from where we took train back to Interlaken.
Day 8: Depart after breakfast.

All of our prices are quoted in Euros – if you wish to use our currency conversion facility, then current daily exchange rates will be applied. Unless otherwise stated, we require a deposit of €470 (approx. £400) per person per course at the time of booking, and the final balance is due eight weeks prior to the start of the course. For bookings made less than 8 weeks before the course start date, full payment is required at the time of booking.

To reach Interlaken is most common to use one of the international airports: Geneva, Zurich or Bern and after to use railway to reach final destination. If you need any help we will be happy to arrange transport to Interlaken for you.
Food and accommodation
Course starts and ends in Interlaken. We recommend you stay in the comfortable Hotel Chalet Swiss, build in typical Swiss chalet style and great location, only 10mintutes away from railway station. We will be glad to help you with reservations.
Finess and ski level
To join this trip you should be an intermediate skier, capable of skiing in all tipes of snow conditions. Various experience in offpiste skiing and ski touring are recommeded. You should be capable of skinnig 4-6 hours (800 – 1000m) per day. You should also be aweare that you will be carrying your backpack all the time. Your fitness level should be very good. We recommend some activities like running, Nordic walking or cycling for 1-2 hours two or three times per week, and also a couple of days skiing, in the months before this course.

Ski touring is a potentially dangerous activity. Before you start the course you must have travel insurance which includes mountain rescue in case of emergency, in order to avoid expensive charges. There are plenty of options, for example, OEAV Sektion Britannia, The British Mountaineering Council or Snowcard. If you have an Alpine Club membership card you will also enjoy a discount in mountain huts.

This equipment list will help you ensure you have all the important things which might be needed. When packing, please have in mind, that your backpack should be as light as possible, while you will carrying it all week long. We recommend you to pack minimum weight; snacks and extra drinks can be bought in mountain huts.
